Kings Of Leon fans won’t have too much longer to wait for a new album, after the band’s bassist Jared Followill confirmed the record was in the final stages of production – and set for an autumn release.
Speaking to the NME Followill said that the album – which is currently being sequenced – will be out in September, and would show a different side to the band.
‘I thought we were going to make a really mature album but I’m amazed how youthful it sounds,’ he admitted.
‘It’s like a mix of Youth and Young Manhood and Because Of The Times’.
The album, which will be the band’s sixth studio recording, is the follow-up to their 2010 effort Come Around Sundown, which topped the album charts in the UK and reached number two in the US Billboard Charts.
