HorrorCon UK – Yorkshire, 11th-12th July
This is a brand new US style convention for the UK dedicated to horror.
Guests include Gunnar Hansen, Tom Savini, Bill Moseley, Ken Foree, Dacre Stoker, Caroline Munro, Martine Beswick; Writers; Presentations; Cosplay; a Market-Place and much more to be announced!

London Film & Comic Con – 17th-19th July
The UK’s largest pop culture event has a very strong horror line-up this year including Robert Englund, Ken Kirzinger, Neve Campbell, director Darren Lynn Bousmann and a selection of cast members from A Nightmare on Elm Street plus many more.
Bristol Horror Con 7th October
The expo will celebrate horror in literature, film, music, games and art. Expect traders, guests, cosplay competitions, workshops, gaming and more!
FrightFest 27th-31st August
Also known as Film4 FrightFest, this is an annual film festival held in central London over the August Bank Holiday weekend. The first event was held in the year 2000.
As its name indicates the primary focus is on the horror genre. However it has included a wide variety of movies that blur the boundaries of genre definitions.
Abertoir 10th-15th November
An annual horror and horror film festival held in the Aberystwyth Arts Centre in Ceredigion, Wales in November. Abertoir is Wales’ only horror festival and is a member of the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation. As well as screening new big-budget horror films, classic and independent films form a large and important part of the festival line-up. Each year a short film competition is held, which showcases horror and fantasy short films from around the world.
