Jessica Lange to Return for American Horror Story Season 8

Original cast member Jessica Lange is returning to American Horror Story for it’s upcoming season!

Sarah Paulson announced that Lange would be in the show’s upcoming eighth season during the Television Critics Association summer press tour on Friday, though she would not reveal what role Lange will be playing.

This was however later confirmed on the AHS official twitter that Lange would be reprising her role of Constance from the first season ‘Murder House’.

Lange was a major part of the early seasons of the FX anthology series, appearing in Seasons 1-4 before bowing out of the show.

FX announced today that American Horror Story has also been renewed for a tenth season ahead of the eighth season premiere.

As previously announced, Season 8 of the series, titled Apocalypse will be a crossover between the seasons Murder House and Coven which were the first and third seasons of the show, respectively.

Show creator Ryan Murphy has previously said that mainstays Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Kathy Bates will lead the eighth season of the series.

It was also announced last week by Murphy that Cody Fern (Assassination of Gianni Versace) would join the show in the role of Michael Langdon (AKA The Anti-Christ).

It will debut on Sept. 12.
