Reeltime Pictures have a thirty year legacy of producing spin-offs of Doctor Who for the direct to video market.
Reeltime have a long history of working with the creators and individual rights holders of some of Doctor Who’s most favourite character And as a result, they have been able to produce numerous dramas set in the Doctor Who universe, but without the Doctor.
The villainous arch-capitalist Sil is the latest to feature in one of their productions was first introduced battling the Sixth Doctor (Colin Baker) in 1985’s Vengeance on Varos, he returned for The Trial of a Time Lord the following year.
In his two TV appearances Sil exploited the inhabitants of a former prison colony, and plotted to transplant his boss’s brain into the body of the Doctor’s companion Peri. In this new adventure, Sil is a prisoner on the Moon.
Actor Nabil Shaban returns to play Sil in a script written by Sil’s creator Philip Martin and also stars Doctor Who alumni Sophie Aldred and Jacqueline King.
Sil is worried, very worried, which doesn’t keep his reptilian skin in the best condition! Confined in a cold detention cell on the moon, awaiting a deportation hearing for trial on drugs offences on Earth, he faces a death sentence if the application is successful and he is found guilty. And his employers at the Universal Monetary Fund aren’t pleased either. Not at all.
As time runs out and friends desert him, Sil must use all of his devious, vile, underhanded, ruthless, and amoral business acumen to survive.
Can he possibly slime his way out of this one?
