Matt Reeves’ Batman reboot has found its Carmine Falcone.
John Turturro (The Big Lebowski) will be joining Robert Pattinson in Matt Reeves and Warner Bros ‘The Batman’ as notorious Gotham crime boss Carmine Falcone.
As announced by director Matt Reeves:
Robert Pattinson is playing the Caped Crusader in the movie, taking over the role from Ben Affleck, who starred as the Dark Knight in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad & Justice League.
Carmine Falcone was more recently portrayed by John Doman in the WB TV Show Gotham
It has previously been announced that Jeffrey Wright will be playing Commissioner James Gordon, Zoe Kravitz will be playing Selina Kyle a.k.a. The Cat, Paul Dano will be playing The Riddler a.k.a Edward Nigma, Andy Serkis will be playing Alfred and also announced Jayme Lawson in an ‘unknown role’.
The Batman will begin shooting in January in the U.K. and is expected to arrive in theaters June 25, 2021.
