‘Dune’ release delayed till 2021

Denis Villenueve’s Dune will no longer release on its planned date. Warner Bros. and Legendary have not yet officially set a new release date for the film, but sources tell The Hollywood Reporter it will be moved to early October 2021. The film was due to be released in theaters December 18th 2020.

A trailer for the film was recently released.

The new adaptation of Frank Herbert’s 1965 science fiction novel(s) will see Timothée Chalamet joined by an objectively mega cast, including Josh Brolin, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Javier Bardem, Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsgård and Charlotte Rampling.
