‘No Time To Die’ release delayed further

Following many rumours that it would be delayed again, the release of upcoming James Bond film No Time to Die has been pushed back; and will now be released 8th October 2021.

The move comes amid a slew of other delays for films previously set to release in the first few months of 2021 such as Sony’s Morbius as many theaters remain closed or open but with limited attendance worldwide due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic which studios had hoped may have improved by now; with many of 2021’s releases originally set for 2020 or already headed to streaming and alternative release models.

The film had already been moved from April to November 2020, when it became the first major Hollywood film to change it’s release date due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Sony, meanwhile, is pushing its live-action Cinderella musical from February to 16 July, while Peter Rabbit 2 is moving to June 11. Ghostbusters: Afterlife will now finally arrive on 11 November.

Alongside Craig, No Time to Die also stars 007 returnees Lea Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes and Christoph Waltz alongside franchise newcomers Rami Malek, Ana de Armas and Lashana Lynch. The film is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga
