Kevin Smith has released the first look image and release date for Part 2 of his animated Netflix show Masters Of The Universe: Revelation. The five episodes which formed Part 1 were released on Netflix in July 2021 with the last five episodes (Part 2) due to be released November 23rd 2021.

Kevin Smith’s ‘Masters Of The Universe: Revelation’ will pay homage to 80s cinema
Kevin Smith and Mattel Television upcoming animated series “Masters of the Universe: Revelation,” will serve as a direct continuation to the animated series from the 1980s.
“Part 1” of the series will feature five episodes that are all premiering on July 23, and Smith revealed on Twitter over the weekend that each one pays tribute to a 1980s classic.

Showrunner Kevin Smith has today given us our first taste at Masters of the Universe: Revelation; the upcoming Netflix Original anime series created by Smith and based upon the characters of Masters of the Universe in a collaboration between Netflix and Mattel Television. The series is produced by Powerhouse Animation Studio and is the third series produced by the studio after Castlevania and Seis Manos. Smith is joined by four writers; Marc Bernardin (Castle Rock), Eric Carrasco (Supergirl), Diya Mishra (October Faction) and Tim Sheridan (The Death and Return of Superman). The trailer was released as part of the ‘Netflix Geeked’ event.

Prequel comic-book for ‘Masters Of The Universe: Revelation’ Netflix series Announced
IGN has today revealed details of a prequel comic book tie-in Masters of the Universe: Revelation; the upcoming Netflix Original anime series created by Smith and based upon the characters of Masters of the Universe in a collaboration between Netflix and Mattel Television. The comic series is being released by indie label Dark Horse Comics.
‘Terminator’ anime series coming to Netflix
A ‘Terminator’ anime series has been ordered at Netflix, Variety has learned. Netflix has partnered with Skydance on the series, with Skydance having produced the last two “Terminator” films. The series is produced in partnership with Production I.G , who Netflix has had a production line deal with since 2018. Production I.G’s past anime credits include ‘Ghost in the Shell‘ ‘B: The Beginning’ and ‘Eden of the East’.
