Following the shocking conclusion of Dexter: New Blood, CBS Home Entertainment has announced the upcoming release of a limited edition steelbook. This release will accompany a general Blu-ray and DVD release of the limited miniseries developed by Showtime as a continuation of the series Dexter.
Michael C. Hall stars in Showtime‘s upcoming revival of Dexter, a continuation of the original series that will essentially allow Showtime to make up for the show’s original finale.
Titled Dexter: New Blood, the new season premieres Sunday, November 7.

Jennifer Carpenter is set to return for the Dexter limited series revival at Showtime, a source close to the production confirmed to Variety.

According to Entertainment Weekly John Lithgow is set to make an appearance in the Dexter revival coming from Showtime this fall.
Awarded his fifth Emmy for the role as the “Trinity Killer” in the fourth season of the killer series’ original run, Lithgow’s character was soundly bumped off by Dexter Morgan himself in season-finale episode “The Getaway” back in late 2009.
