America’s favourite serial killer is back Michael C. Hall stars in Showtime‘s upcoming revival of Dexter, a continuation of the original series. And we now have the first trailer revealed during a panel for ComicCon@Home. Titled ‘Dexter: New Blood’ We also now know that the show will release November 9th 2021 on Showtime.
Jennifer Carpenter is set to return for the Dexter limited series revival at Showtime, a source close to the production confirmed to Variety.
Carpenter played Deb Morgan in the original series. Carpenter’s character is the adopted sister of Michael C. Hall’s Dexter Morgan, and was famously killed in the show’s series finale. Continue reading
According to Entertainment Weekly John Lithgow is set to make an appearance in the Dexter revival coming from Showtime this fall.
Awarded his fifth Emmy for the role as the “Trinity Killer” in the fourth season of the killer series’ original run, Lithgow’s character was soundly bumped off by Dexter Morgan himself in season-finale episode “The Getaway” back in late 2009.
Showtime has ordered a limited series revival of the beloved serial killer drama Dexter with Michael C. Hall set to return.
Production is set to begin in 2021 for a fall debut of 10 episodes.
