Carolyn Seymour in Conversation is the latest in an occasional range of in-depth interviews with Big Finish’s biggest stars. Perhaps best known in cult television circles for her starring role in the first series of Terry Nation’s Survivors, Carolyn Seymour has worked extensively on both sides of the Atlantic, on both stage and screen. In 2014 she reprised her role as Abby Grant in the audio continuation of Survivors, and has since appeared across a number of their ranges, most notably the Doctor Who spin-off Counter-Measures, where she plays the returning villainess, Lady Suzanne Clare.
Ahead of the Digital release on August 3rd of his latest film PERIPHERAL, director Paul Hyett talks about the importance of creative freedom, the lockdown and future project

We were delighted to catch up with actor David Dastmalchian.
David has been most recently seen on our screens in Gotham season 3 as Dwight Pollard and villian Abra Kadabra in CW’s The Flash
He got his big break playing Joker associate Thomas Schiff in Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight‘. This has led on to many Film & TV Roles including playing Kurt in Marvel’s ‘Ant-Man‘. More recently he appeared in the revival of Twin Peaks & Blade Runner 2049.

With the latest incarnation of HORROR CHANNEL’S FRIGHTFEST ready to consume and infect on London August 25th through 29th , the DISCOVERY STAGE will showcase a variety of genre features that continue to rule the film festival circuit! A part of that group of selected films and filmmakers is Kansas City madman Patrick Rea! Known for his short film work around the world including PILLOW FIGHT, A HOWL OF A GOOD TIME, COUNTER PARTS as well as the 2013 thriller NAILBITER; Rea will be presenting his latest feature called ENCLOSURE. This tense and supernatural tale of isolation focuses on a married couple and the choices that they must make as their camping trip falls under siege by a variation of what could be called monsters. We grabbed Rea in between film projects to talk about ENCLOSURE, micro filmmaking, connecting casting and of course playing at FRIGHTFEST!
“I think the ‘container’ horror film really gets my creative juices flowing, because we have to really work hard to keep things interesting for the audience. It’s not easy making a film like this, despite not having many locations. It actually becomes way more challenging to find ways to keep the audience engaged while being in primarily one place.”
We spoke with actress Naomi Grossman; known for playing the iconic character of Pepper who appeared in the second series ‘Asylum’ before later reprising the role for the fourth series ‘Freak Show’.

To mark the anniversary of the release of the indie hit film Clerks(1994) from writer/director Kevin Smith we talk to actress Marilyn Ghigliotti who played Veronica; one of the female protagonists in the film.
Born in New York, Marilyn started her acting career in local theatre after moving to New Jersey before getting her big screen debut with Clerks in 1994. She has since gone on to play a variety of roles in indie horror, comedy & action films. 20 years on, we ask her about the experience of making the film as well as her life and work since.
