The Master, Daleks and Cybermen plus two classic companions are set to return to Doctor Who.

A first look at Doctor Who’s feature-length BBC Centenary special, and Jodie Whittaker’s final episode, has revealed the return of the Doctor’s biggest adversary – The Master (Sacha Dhawan), who last appeared in series 12’s final episode The Timeless Children.

And for the first time since the show returned to BBC One in 2005, The Master, the Daleks and the Cybermen will all feature in one single story.

Review: Doctor Who – Thin Time/Madquake

Conversion ended with the Doctor abandoning his companions on the planet Callanna as he has an emotional breakdown. July’s Monthly Range release Time Apart shows the Doctor attempting to cope with the end of Conversion through for with mixed results, leaving August’s release to provide catharsis to this little arc. Thin Time and Madquake is a double feature which shows how each group apart from one another can come to terms with the events of Conversion, facing their own demons in their own stories. Dan Abnett (in a return to Big Finish in over a decade) and Guy Adams both tell character focused stories overcoming their own traumas and issues in their own way.

BBC Re-Release Doctor Who The Collection Season 12

BBC Worldwide has announced that Doctor Who: The Collection – Season 12 will be re-released on Blu-Ray.

For fans of Doctor Who and collectors of Classic Who seasons, the Blu-Ray has limited edition packaging with artwork by Lee Binding and has been restored and up-scaled to HD by Peter Crocker and Mark Ayres.

Doctor Who Star Discusses Reprising Her Classic Role

Classic Doctor Who fans was overjoyed back in September when Sophie Aldred reprised her role of companion Ace, 30 years after she was a regular on the BBC sci-fi series.

A specially-shot trailer for Doctor Who: Season 26 – The Collection Blu-ray set saw Aldred play an older Ace – a teenager when she first appeared, now the head of a philanthropic foundation called A Charitable Earth.
