Director Kevin Smith Makes History in Film-NFT Rights Acquisition Deal, Distributing New Film “KillRoy Was Here” as an NFT with Legendao, Powered by Secret Network.
Kevin Smith is looking to auction off his latest horror feature anthology Killroy Was Here as an NFT (non-fungible token).
The new owner of the NFT will secure the rights to exhibit, distribute and stream the work, making it a means for whoever owns the movie to earn money outside of the blockchain.
Writer/director Kevin Smith has announced that new behind-the-scenes documentary Magnum Dopus: The Making of Jay And Silent Bob Reboot is now available to watch on Amazon Prime. The documentary was filmed, directed & edited by Smith’s long-time behind-the-scenes documentarian and collaborator Josh Roush.

Following Fox’s massive success with The Masked Singer and the ongoing spread of the coronavirus, executive producer Craig Plestis is now bringing South Korea’s remotely-made Celebrity Show-Off to the U.S., which is set to air on TBS. Hosted by Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory), each Celebrity Show-Off episode will feature five stars creating online content that must attract the highest number of views. Every week, the contestant who produces the content with the lowest viewership and engagement will be replaced by another celebrity. Confirmed competitors include Diplo, Nene Leakes, Dwight Howard, Gabi Butler, Bella Thorne, Ja Rule, Jason Mraz, and Kevin Smith, among others.
