‘Pumpkinhead’ remake in the works

Bloody Disgusting is reporting that a script is complete for a remake of horror classic ‘Pumpkinhead’ from Paramount Pictures sub-division Paramount Players, with news on production start date and a director announcement expected soon.

Paramount Players recently released Paranormal Activity: The Next of Kin, and are also in production on several horror films including Orphan: First Kill, Pet Sematary prequel, Something’s Wrong With Rose and

Lance Henriksen starred in the original Stan Winston-directed 1988 creature feature as Ed Harley, a grieving father who conjures up the titular monster in an effort to kill those who took his young son from him. Continue reading

Support Indie Film – Harvest Moon (2017)

Savage Beast Films has launched pre-production of its latest feature HARVEST MOON; and has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise additional funding for the thriller, set to shoot in Telluride, Colorado. The cast list  includes, Robert Englund (A Nightmare On Elm Street), Lance Henriksen (Aliens), Jamie Bernadette (The 6th Friend), Betsy Baker (The Evil Dead), Milo Ventimiglia (Rocky Balboa), Yvonne Strahovski (Dexter), Maria Olsen (Paranormal Activity) and Delpaneaux Wills (NCIS). The project also has on-board SFX legend Robert Kurtzman and composer Harry Manfredini (Friday the 13th)

Young widow Kate (Meredith Majors) moves into an old house Lake-Eerie-Poster- - 24x36on Lake Erie to recover from her husband’s death. The house has not been lived in for over 40 years. From the moment Kate moves into the house, she is soon haunted by a dark presence. Kate is taking multiple pills/ medications for her anxiety and depression; therefore, she is not sure if she is losing her mind or if the haunting is really happening.

Kate is suddenly enveloped by a whirlwind of tragedy and dark forces, and must decide whether or not she is strong enough to fight back and figure out the evil truth before it’s too late.
