Patty Jenkins Star Wars movie Rogue Squadron delayed

Rogue Squadron, the upcoming Star Wars project directed by Wonder Woman filmmaker Patty Jenkins, has been delayed.

The film was scheduled to begin production in 2022, but that start date is not going to happen, which could also impact the film’s targeted release date of Dec. 22, 2023.

Hayden Christensen joining Disney Plus Ahsoka series

Hayden Christensen will reprise the role of Anakin Skywalker, aka Darth Vader, in Ahsoka, the latest Star Wars live-action series from Lucasfilm and Disney+.

Rosario Dawson is starring as the fan-favorite character Ahsoka Tano, a Jedi Knight survivor popular The Clone Wars who made her live-action debut in the second season of The Mandalorian.

Hasbro to release a George Lucas Stormtrooper action figure

The Maker is coming to your toy collection.

George Lucas, the legendary creator of Star Wars, will join Hasbro’s vaunted 6-inch Star Wars: The Black Series line of action figures. Created in celebration of Lucasfilm’s 50th anniversary and in tribute to its founder, the figure cleverly depicts Lucas in stormtrooper armour and comes with a removable helmet and blaster. Disney Plus Star Wars show ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ gets release date

We now have a release date for ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ on Disney Plus. The “Mandalorian” spinoff will debut on Dec. 29 2021.  The show was first teased following the conclusion of “The Mandalorian” Season 2 finale.

In the series, legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand are navigating the Galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.

Antonio Banderas joins ‘Indiana Jones 5’

Antonio Banderas is Harrison Ford’s newest co-star in the anticipated next installment in the Indiana Jones franchise.

‘The Simpsons’ crosses over with ‘Star Wars’ in Disney Plus short ‘The Force Awakens From Its Nap’

Disney Plus has announced plans to celebrate Star Wars Day 2021 on May the 4th.

Along with the previously-announced debut of the animated series “Star Wars: The Bad Batch,”  the platform is also dropping the “Star Wars”-themed “Simpsons” short “Maggie Simpson in ‘The Force Awakens From Its Nap,’” which will see characters from the Star Wars universe mix with the Springfields favourites. They will also be releasing two bundles of virtual artwork for fans.
