Insight Editions have released details of a new film ‘coffee table’ book titled ‘Kevin Smith’s Secret Stash: The Definitive Visual History‘ which will of-course explore the life and career of film-maker Kevin Smith (Clerks, Dogma, Chasing Amy, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back). The book features a foreword from Smith’s longtime friend and co-star Jason Mewes as well as testmonials/writing from Smith’s longtime producer Scott Mosier; director J.J. Abrams; actors Ben Affleck, Mark Hamill, Seth Rogen and Justin Long; and Smith’s wife Jennifer Schwalbach-Smith and daughter Harley Quinn Smith, among others. Following the cancellation of San Diego Comic-Con 2020 many online events and activities have been announced as part of the ‘Comic-Con@Home’ program. Among these was an ‘An Evening With Kevin Smith‘ panel on Saturday, July 25th.
In a radio interview with 102.5 The Bone radio station Smith teased a Fall 2019 release.

Writer/director Kevin Smith let slip on his podcast Hollywood Babble-On (an entertainment/chat show co-hosted by Ralph Garman) that he had secured funding for the long-awaited film Clerks III. This is reportedly as a result of renewed interest following Smith’s recent horror/comedy Tusk.
Smith made his film debut with Clerks in 1994; shooting the film for around $27,000 paid on various credit cards before selling the film to Miramax at the Sundance film festival. He went on to further successes with films such as Dogma, Chasing Amy & Jersey Girl before returning to Clerks with Clerks II in 2006. Continue reading
