Series 13 of Doctor Who has an official airdate, with Jodie Whittaker’s new collection of adventures confirmed to be kicking off on Sunday 31st October.
This follows the recent news that 13th Doctor actress Jodie Whittaker and show-runner Chris Chibnall are set to leave the iconic BBC sci-fi show Doctor Who. Their time on the show will culminate with a trio of Specials, culminating in an epic blockbuster Special to air in autumn 2022 as part of the BBC’s Centenary celebrations.
During a panel for ComicCon@Home we now have further details and a teaser trailer for Doctor Who series 13 which sees the return of Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteen Doctor and returning companion Mandip Gill as Yaz.
Seven Doctors in seven unforgettable adventures join the Doctor Who Target book range, all publishing on 11th March 2021, each with newly commissioned cover artwork by Anthony Dry.
These latest novelisations, almost all written by the original writers of the TV episodes, will help Target fans finally complete their classic-era collection, and take the Target range into its next incarnation.

Doctor Who returns on New Year’s Day in the upcoming special Revolution of the Daleks, and this adventure will be the last for Bradley Walsh and Tosin Cole, who played Graham O’Brien and Ryan Sinclair.
